1. Membership
- Membership provides access to S30 Studio facilities, services, and equipment based on your selected membership type.
- Memberships are non-transferable unless approved by management.
- Membership fees are subject to change with 30 days’ notice.
2. Access & Use
- Members must follow all studio rules and staff instructions at all times.
- 24/7 access (where applicable) is strictly for Members only. Sharing access is prohibited.
- Any misuse of facilities, equipment, or access systems may result in suspension or termination.
3. Payments
- All memberships are paid via direct debit or recurring payment systems.
- Payments must be kept up to date at all times.
- A $10 fee applies to failed or dishonoured payments.
If your account falls into arrears:
- Your access to the studio may be immediately suspended.
- You may lose access to classes and 24/7 entry.
- Additional admin or debt collection fees may apply.
Continued failure to pay may result in referral to a debt collection agency.
4. Minimum Term & Early Cancellation
- If your membership has a minimum term, you are committed for the full duration.
- Early cancellation within the minimum term will incur a fee equal to 50% of the remaining balance.
- Early termination is only granted in exceptional circumstances (e.g. medical or relocation), at management discretion.
5. Cancellation
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or letter. Verbal or social media requests will not be accepted.
- After the minimum term has ended, a 30-day notice period applies. Cancellation takes effect 30 days from the date written notice is received.
- The 30-day notice period must be served while your membership remains active. Suspensions, holds, or inactive periods do not count toward the notice period. Payments will continue as scheduled during this time.
- All outstanding payments, arrears, or failed transactions must be cleared before cancellation will be finalised.
- If you are still within your minimum term, cancellation is subject to the Early Cancellation terms above.
6. Suspensions
- Memberships may be suspended for up to 6 weeks per request.
- A $10 suspension fee applies.
- A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice is required.
- Extended suspensions may require medical documentation and approval.
7. Transfers
- Membership transfers to another person may be approved at management discretion and incur a $49 fee.
- Transfers between studios may result in fee adjustments.
8. Health & Safety
- You acknowledge that participation in fitness activities carries inherent risks, including injury, illness, or death.
- You agree to take full responsibility for your health and physical condition.
- You must inform staff of any injuries, medical conditions, or limitations before training.
9. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- You agree that S30 Studio is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered while using our facilities.
- You use all equipment and facilities at your own risk.
- You indemnify and hold harmless S30 Studio, its staff, and affiliates from any claims arising from your participation.
10. Under 18 Members (Parental Consent)
- Members under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian provide written consent prior to joining.
- The parent/guardian agrees to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the minor.
- The parent/guardian accepts full responsibility for the minor’s participation, safety, and conduct.
11. Photo & Video Consent
- By attending S30 Studio, you acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken during classes, events, or within the studio.
- These may be used for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes.
- If you do not wish to be included, you must notify us in writing. We will take reasonable steps to respect your request.
12. Conduct
- Members must treat staff, other members, and facilities with respect at all times.
- Any inappropriate behaviour, damage, or breach of rules may result in immediate termination of membership without refund.
13. Communication
- By providing your contact details, you agree to receive communications from us, including updates, promotions, and service-related messages.
- You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
14. Privacy
- Your personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

15. Changes to Terms
- We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website.
16. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
- Any disputes arising under these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under New Zealand law that cannot be excluded, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.
17. Agreement
By signing up or attending S30 Studio, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
- You agree to be bound by them.
- You accept full responsibility for your participation.
